Hi! I’m Amy and that’s me up there, dancing carelessly with my husband, Ray ♡

You might not be able to see my face that well, but everything going on in that photo is pretty much, ME!

• I’m a hardcore sucker for wide-angle shots. Seriously. I have to remind myself to zoom in sometimes. 

• I love being in nature & doing my part to take care of our Mother Earth 🌎

• Once you get me dancing, it's kind of hard to stop.

• And Ray’s my No. 1 teammate in life, so every once in a while he might join me on a photoshoot. (Don’t worry, he’s a lot of fun!)

I started studying photography in high school and kept on going through college. Worked for a couple of portrait studios in Chicago, and I’ve been dabbling as a freelance photographer since 2008. I’ve been exploring photography for over 20 years and after all that, I finally have a vision, a purpose, a direction, and I am excited to explore that with my clients.

A photograph is quite literally, a frozen moment in time, and I want to get back to those basics! I want my photos to document REAL LIFE. I want my clients to be their TRUE& AUTHENTIC SELVES. So, join me on this journey in TAKING THE STRESS OUT OF PHOTOGRAPHY and let’s LIVE IN THE MOMENT!

What’s the name “STIEVE LUKSA” all about you ask? Well, STIEVE [Steve] is my maiden name and LUKSA [Luke-sah] is my married name. I identify with both names and use them interchangeably. Call me Amy, Stieve, Luksa, or any combo of the 3  — it’s who I am!

Based in South Haven, MI. Available throughout the state of Michigan, the greater Chicago area, and beyond. Always willing to travel ✈
