I.R.L.

I.R.L. Philosophy

In Real Life — it seems like such a simple concept, right?

We’re all photographers in one way or another, and with camera phones only getting better, we often have to remind ourselves to live experiences #IRL … even when I’m photographing, I have to remind myself to slow down, take a breath, and really see what’s going on around me — to live in the moment with you.

And you know what guys, sometimes…  Life — Is — Rough! But rough is real and real is beautiful, so I’m here to tell you to stop stressing out over the idea of “the perfect photo,” because to me “perfect” is you, being you.

So please, put down your phones, focus on you and yours, and live I.R.L.  — Let me be the one to capture the memories, so that you can get caught up living them.

Still trying to figure out what My photograpHy is all about?

Consider THESE PHOTO COMPARISONS :

I love a soft pose, lifestyle moment, but I LIVE for a true candid moment.

I will always try for a traditional group photo, but my favorite family photo is the all natural — a true moment in time.

Eye contact can be stunningly beautiful and captivating, but my passion is a true and unapologetic, moment like this (#shoutout to Kelly Clarkson).

Sometimes IF I see a moment happen and it feels right, I’ll ask my subjects to hold or repeat... Most of the time, I just want to be a fly on the wall, watching it all happen.

During my education as a photographer, nature was my muse; never humans... During my career as a photographer, I’ve learned to embrace humans in nature, and it’s my absolute favorite.
